Your Members

-
“Your members” refers to your physical, mental, and emotional representatives—who work together to handle all your earthly concerns. The book, The Body Talks . . . and I Can Hear It, shows you how you can work with your members so that they are all cooperating and “pulling” in the same direction—working for you instead of being isolated or struggling against each other. In the book, a “Being”—a symbol for you or I or anyone—comes up with these three images as its dense body representatives or “team members”:
  • Physical body = a Jaguar
  • Mental body = a Wizard
  • Emotional body = a Deer
-
These three images happen to be from my doing the process for myself, and these were the “characters” that stepped forward in my visualization. While these are just examples, yours may be different, and probably will be. While reading about the examples, you will have the opportunity to relate this news to yourself and come up with your own symbols for your physical, mental, and emotional systems.
-
In addition, here are some brief suggestions as to how to meet up with, interact with, and shift the effectiveness of your own members. Close your eyes and imagine yourself in a peaceful place in nature.
  1. Invite one of your three members—Physical, Mental or Emotional—to join you in this friendly and safe spot that you have pictured in your mind. Let’s say you are inviting your physical representative to show itself first. Start by asking yourself, “How have I been feeling physically lately?” Stop and really ponder whether you have felt tired or stressed or buzzed or whatever. Then give an image to that feeling.
  2. If an image is not forthcoming in a timely fashion, remind yourself that the image may be a physical object, an animal, a person (real or imaginary), a color or vibration, a mystical creature, or anything that you can imagine inside your closed eyes.
  3. After you have “met” your physical body representative, repeat the same process to meet your other two members—the mental and emotional team members.
-
At this point you can consider the images that presented themselves and see just what state your own means of expressions are in. For example, if you see a limp dishrag for your physical member, a black cloud for your mental, and a choir of angels for your emotional representative, quite likely you are strong of heart (emotional expression), but unable to access the energy (physical expression) or logistical means (mental expression) to get your heart-felt truths out to the public.
-
Still in this magical space, you now have the opportunity to do these three things:
  1. Speak with your three members.
  2. Let them know what you would like for them to do for you.
  3. Literally shift these images into forms that better suit your goals.
-
To shift your members to forms that are more supportive of you, it is helpful to know what each representative is in charge of: PHYSICAL
  • Very densest system
  • A witness to all experiences as well as a member of your expressing team.
  • Houses the Mental and Emotional representatives storing all feelings and thoughts.
  • In charge of STRENGTH - both inner and outer; FLEXIBILITY and TRUST - both of the self and others.
  • Always in the moment.
  • Determines safety for all 3 systems.
